Compact and strong

Love this router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little router, small, compact, yet has plenty of power for it's size. I use it with the compact 18V Batteries and it stays pretty light weight this way. It's not a replacement for a full size router (which I also have from Metabo HPT), but much more convenient.

Best trim router

Typical Metabo quality (that's a great thing)

Nice feeling in hand with rubber grip. Plenty of power, but I have only used it with small round over bits. Very happy with Metabo HPT so far.

Power, like corded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this little router to mortise door hardware. Hinges, latches, etc.. This thing works GREAT, throws chips and cuts like a corded trimmer, maybe stronger that some I've used before. Works great, you need this!

Super handy

Very similar size shape and weight as the makita but seems to have a touch more power and the brake is way faster! Also like the on off switch location on the Metabo better. Another best in the toolbox

Most of my jobs involve working with frames, doors, cabinets, and base boards and this router is really handy when it comes to make modifications. The on/off button is a toggle switch, but it has to be turned on by the power button on the opposite side first (which lets you check battery status). Super compact!

I've been using several other metabo tools recently so it will work with batteries I already have. It works perfectly, has plenty of power, and takes little room in the truck. Plus it costs less than other options locally available so that's nice also.
