Smooth and Easy to Handle

Compact and easy to handle, even with one hand when necessary. Other corded routers that I have used were larger, heavier, and very torque'y (jerky) on start up. This Metabo trim router is very smooth and seems to have all the power I need.

never will be like the old Hitachi. metabo products are bad quality , when you claim warranty fill the form nobody contact you or replace it. stick with Milwaukee and Dewalt better value and they always honor claims and warranty.

Great Tool! Powerful, Easy to Use, and Convenient!

Its light enough to easily control but still powerful enough to run through the work quickly and cleanly. Great tool! Great Router

trim router

I like this tool. I think I'll buy a 36 volt battery for it. Only complaint I remove the depth adjustment to access the spindle lock.

I bought one of these a couple of months ago and sure was happy with my purchase. This router is so handy to use. It's my go to hand held router.

A Balanced Finisher

It is lightweight, balanced (more on this below), and incredibly portable. I use this for finishing, small trim work, and edge easing mostly. I use a larger AC powered router for big projects, when 1/2" bits are required, and for when large amounts of material need to be removed. Having both tools chucked up and ready to go is a hug...

All in palm of your hand

Thought I would only use it for one pr6,but fi d myself reaching for it alot. So easy to cut laminate and round edges.

Little but powerful

I’ve had a few full sized routers but wanted a cordless hand held. I was very impressed by the power of such a small machine. It’s easy to handle and quick to change bits. Highly recommended

I love this router for custom projects and nice precision cutouts, it has lots of power and I love the design, I’ve been switching my whole set up to metabo and I love it! Nothing but good compliments!

18V trim router, Great, convenient tool

I've used this router for about a year now and love it. Small, compact, and carry it in my truck all the time because it always comes in handy on the jobs where you don't think you will need it. Powerful and easy to use. Makes quick work of routing hinges, making clean notches in trim, etc. Just a handy tool to have. Also love there lifetime warranty which I have used on other Hitachi / MetaboHPT products I own that are 10+ years old and only received the best service from them.

I have used several different brands of these trim routers, the is the best one I have found. Light and east to use.
