Washes the clothes well, except when it won't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchase this washer to replace an old, broken one. In general, we like it. It has a wide array of cycles and produces clean clothes. The one thing I don't like is that it decides that it must be run through the "Clean Washer" cycle when it demands. Otherwise, it will not operate. I object to being dictated to by a machine that refuses to do what it is supposed to do, unless I do what it insists I need to do first.

Greatly disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still unable to use the washer without the help of my son. I am not a tech person and do not understand the minimal instructions at all. Read, saw video and still unable. When I saw my husband try, he was washing delicates for 2 hours and 40 minutes! What on earth requires that length of time to get clean. I push a button to restart and up comes message that cycle is cancelled.

Great machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Maytag and am so disappointed. The glass top is just fir looks. You can't see in once the machine starts. Worst of all is that it's noisy! Our home is one level. The laundry room is off the kitchen. It is not a quiet machine

A great time saver!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Super Washing Machine. With our old washer, it usually took 2 hours no matter what we were washing. No, depending on what we are washing, we can have a load done in a little as 30 minutes.

It has great features but.......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how easy it is to program but I REALLY do not like how there's water standing in both the detergent dispenser and the fabric softener dispenser after the washer is finished. I have to take the whole thing out and empty it in the sink everytime I use it. Also, the top of the agitator pops of everytime I wash towels. I don't overkill it with towels so I'm not sure what's going on. I haven't even had it a month. I had my last Maytag ...

5 year max life span for such an expensive machine

I have had to get this machine serviced 3 times in the last 5 years. For such an expensive machine this is not ok. Now, I am being told the motherboard is dead, exactly 5 years after purchase. Not sure where to go from here. I had high hopes and am so disappointed.

Washer does not work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product hasnt worked since we got it. Will not drain. Lid wont unlock. Ruined our full load of laundry. And no one could come out until more than a week later. Still not fixed until someone comes tomorrow finally.

I had a Kenmore that I left in my old house. It was at least 20 years old and was still working perfect. I have regretted leaving it.

Great machine

Why the stench?

Previous to this machine I’d had 2 other brands over a period of 49 years. I am so disappointed with the stench I am dealing with all the time. I often have to rehash a load of clothes, or, I’ve learned that I can spray Febreeze into the drier onto the dry clothes and run the drier for 10 minutes and everything smells fine. Sometimes, though, an article of clothing will smell again if it’s been hanging in the closet for awhile. Yes, I know there is a product to use to clean the drum, but firs...
