The top shelf is too low. the basket for silverware missing the piece to separate the spoons etc. It keeps shutting off when trying to use the short cycle. I hate this machine. My old Maytag was awesome.

No longer a Maytag fan

It’s difficult to find a good place to put glasses so they don’t fall over. There are uneven racks and few flat areas. I also didn’t realize that there was no specific silverware caddy where the spoons, etc., wouldn’t fall onto each other and nest, allowing the water to hit all surfaces. silverware basket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the silverware basket on my old Maytag, so I switched it out. The spacing for glasses and mugs is also different. My big mugs need to go on the bottom. Glasses don't fit quite the same, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Not as many features as the old model.

It works flawlessly. I especially like the timer in the display. No more guessing how long before the dishes are done.

Terrible customer service

I will never buy another appliance from Lowes. I will never buy another Maytag appliance. The dishwasher silverware basket was missing the piece called a "utensil cover". It is the piece that holds the silverware upright. Everyone was very nice and polite but provided zero assistance when I had a problem. I spent hours on the phone and even found the part online so the customer service would have a place to start. I got transferred too many times and finally gave up.

Loving it!

It drys everything really well, which is very important to me. The space on top rack is better and the slanted racks keep you from having pools of water in the bottom of glasses. Silverware holder

Impressive Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only run the dishwasher twice since I purchased it but it performed extremely well. It's very quiet while running and it shows you on the control panel how long it will take to finish. I don't rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and everything came out crystal clean. No water spots. No debris left behind. I'm really impressed with this dishwasher.

Cleans but LOUD

Was Installed a week ago and have washed two loads so far. While the dishes are clean this thing is LOUD. Sounds like an electrical buzz through to whole cycle. Hope this is not a sign of issues…definitely will not run if not home.

Styles change

The dishwasher I replaced was older and the motor was on the bottom, so the lower rack set higher than on the new dishwasher. Because I'm 75, I am disappointed to have to lean down, almost to the floor, to put things on the lower rack. Maybe all new dishwashers are designed this way. My dishes do not fit as well into the upper rack as they did on previous dishwashers I have ...
