Absolutely do NOT buy this washer/dryer set.

We purchased both units from Lowe’s at the end of November 2025, and within four weeks both machines started malfunctioning. The dryer has NEVER properly dried clothes and constantly shows a “low air flow” error after just a few minutes—despite having the vent professionally cleaned. The washer has had multiple issues, including turning on by itself, stopping cycles mid-wash, door lock failures, and loud abnormal noises. I had a broken dryer after only two loads!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a broken dryer after only two loads! We installed our dryer yesterday. I was so excited! The first two loads were excellent but then there was a problem. The dryer door refused to close! It simply would not catch. I did not want to suffer a delay and call a repair person so my husband took a look at it. The problem was with the screws in the door and he was able to complete the repair with a screwdriver.

We were so impressed with the performance and longevity of the previous set we looked hard to find Maytag's again. The only frustration is no owners manual. Everything tied to a stupid phone, got to get the App. 😤

Extremely Long Cycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pet Pro option works great but each cycle takes an extremely long time - over 90 minutes and then some things are still damp. I had a service technician out to check the machine and confirmed all is working properly. Even the regular cycles take a very very long time to dry. I’ve never had a dryer that takes this long.

PetPro Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with my dryer and it's features. I wish the controls were more accessible (stacked model) and I am short stature so I need a step stool. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

Great mchine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this dryer works very well. It dries faster than my 15 year old set and I really like to cool down feature, my old one didn't have this. When using the matching front load washer, they really get the pet off of the clothes very well. Overall I am impressed.

Not good

If you have multiple pets. Do NOT get yhis washer it doesnt work right. Constantly getting clogged up and not working. Every month I have to haul it out of my house to clean it and takes all day to do. Now its been 2 weeks and having to do it again I am getting rid of it.
