Worst lint trap ever/clothes never dry

It leaves soooooo much lint in the dryer and it is a serious pain to clean out - even with a lint brush designed for this purpose. It is by far the worst design I’ve ever had to deal with. Somewhat disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Maytag dryer doesn't always dry clothes in the time set for any individual cycle, probably due to moisture sensor issues. I was also disappointed to see that the internal part of the drum is not stainless steel as our old Maytag was. This was not mentioned in the dryer description but should be expected at this price level.

6 months old and throwing error codes

This product was just purchased six months ago and it’s already throwing an error code. The code means that the button panel is stuck. The Maytag washer that goes with this dryer is also a piece of junk. Do not recommend buying the washer or dryer. We are also having to wait a month for a technician to just look at our washer and dryer – not fix it, just to look at them. Absolutely do NOT buy this washer/dryer set.

We purchased both units from Lowe’s at the end of November 2025, and within four weeks both machines started malfunctioning. The dryer has NEVER properly dried clothes and constantly shows a “low air flow” error after just a few minutes—despite having the vent professionally cleaned. The washer has had multiple issues, including turning on by itself, stopping cycles mid-wash, door lock failures, and loud abnormal noises. Just bought this within the month so can’t review on longevity of this dryer. So far it dries well at full capacity on normal setting. It works as expected. Stacked on the washer it is quite tall. Since the panel is at a slight angle, it may be hard to see the settings without a step stool if you are shorter.

We bought this washer specifically because it is a "pet Pro" It has already needed repair twice and we bought in March. There is no way to clean any trapped hair without a repair person. I wipe the inside down before each wash and clean the lint trap each time. Very unhappy with the performance of this machine

Stop reading and start buying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in September, The original had a small issue and Maytag replaced the entire dryer without question. The entire process was excellent. Now on to the dryer itself. This thing has tons of room. We previously had a frigidaire affinity and this maytag seems like it could fit our entire old dryer just in the drum. i love that the drum is white and easy to see if you get everything.
