New range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are liking this range very much. Love the flat surface with no edges to catch food. Oven and burners heat very quickly. Only thing we miss is the warmer drawer that we had on our previous range. They just don't seem to make the anymore and we used it all the time.

Scratch Scratch Scratch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door is off when it closes, my husband and daughter said it was not that noticeable . The strip on top that is stainless steel scratched with the first use. The glass top is the hardest - we use only approved cleaners and it is scratching already after 4 uses

Incorrect description in the features.

Bought this oven because of the statement online that the unit had a hidden bake element. The sales person verified that information for me because there was not a unit in the store to view. The sales person ordered the oven for me online. When it finaly shipped, much to our disappointment we discovered that the bake element indeed was not hidden. Which was contradictory to the online description stated.

Basic Display Area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Basic display area. The oven door has the vent that lets a lot of hot air escape right onto the door handle. To me, it seems that this is quite a bit more than my last oven.

Love the cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new Maytag range with one exception I find the bottom storage drawer not as large as my previous range was and as a result cannot store as much as needed. All the features are great and love the cooktop.

One big flaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, it works great. Looks great. However, I have a toddler and am shocked how hot the top of the oven door gets. The top 4-5 inches of the outside of the oven door is stainless and piping hot when oven is on. I burned my leg when I opened it partway to check on food. This is a safety hazard for sure. And the stainless steel is easily fingerprinted and streaky. Had to purchase a special cleaner.

Dissatisfaction with cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t like the black cooktop. It does not clean easily. I am disappointed in that as I am someone who likes things to be very clean looking. I have only had it a month and I have some marks on the one burner I cannot get off. I read all the cleaning directions ahead of time and have been very careful. I would appreciate any tips on what others use to clean it.

Excellent options for stovetop cooking

Expected better quality from a Maytag

Stove dials are difficult to read, small print. Long term question, will ink on metal panel for dials wear off?? Stovetop burner hot, which one? No indicator light. Drawer is lightweight, opening for drawer has bare metal hand slot. Actual drawer has low sides, 3 inches high...items fall out. These are cosmeti...

Looks nice but seems cheaply made

Quality seems a bit cheap though, for instance the bottom storage drawer is so flimsy it will flex and bend when its moved. Terrible cheap design. I was afraid to put any pans in it. I hope the rest of the range is not as cheaply built as that drawer.
