Very nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this an it was a lot better then I ever thought it could be! I was supper excited about the place to hide the key inside! As long as you read the directions it was very easy to program! I like the fact you have to use the combination to get the hook part to unhook! Great lock an it’s a very nice size also!

So simple

I seem to always be losing the key for these locks and I decided I was tired of it and needed to invest in a lock that didn't require a key. You need one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The The Master Lock No. 5422D Portable Push Button Lock Box is similar to ones I used as a realtor however, this one has a weather protective cover so I use it on my gate and my landscapers can access my backyard without leaving my property open to trespassers. Brilliant!

Does NOT fit key fob

I bought this specifically to hold my mother’s car key, as she has dementia. Despite the description, her Prius fob does not fit inside. Additionally, the buttons are hard to press if you have any fingernails at all, and often you have to enter the code more than once. And having to re-enter the combo to close it is a pain.

Nice but not intuitive.

Pros: punch buttons are easier to use than rolling number. Cons: Cannot repeat digits. It's not intuitive that one needs to enter code again to lock it.

Stopped working after changing code once

Product worked well for a while, but when I changed the code a couple months into use, the box opened once but then never again.

Better than the doorknob ones.

Nice little box. Keep it lubed. Takes a lot of abuse.

Lock box is great for a spare key!

I like the push button lock vs. the turn dial lock much better. These are great to screw on to the wall next to your front door for when you forget a key, or need something for a rental. The one thing I don't like is that if you have a few keys in the lock box, and you open the door and attempt to close the door, you have to kind of organize the keys in the back of the lock to get the door to close. Otherwise it's a great product.
