What Customers Are Saying
The fireplace shovel is well-made and durable, with a long enough handle to reach the back of the fireplace. Many customers praised its effectiveness in scooping ashes and coals. However, some found the shovel's length to be too short for larger fireplaces or wood stoves. A few also reported issues with the paint or coating, such as it catching fire or peeling off. Overall, the shovel is a good, affordable option that works well for its intended purpose, though it may not be suitable for all fireplace or wood stove sizes.

Would Recommenddoes the trick for little cost. Happy with my purchase.
What can I say it’s a shovel
Would RecommendIt shovels and I love the color?reasonably priced. If I somehow wear it out before I die I would probably buy another one.
Functional tool
This tool works fine for my needs. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the paint has already started to peal off. It works fine, but if pealed paint bothers you - you might want to think twice before purchasing.
JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
Would RecommendDoing a lot of BBQ'n and Dutch oven cooking. perfect for moving coals around and cleaning up after.
Be Cautious!!
Would Not RecommendHad to replace our old one a month ago. Today while cleaning out hot coals, it caught fire sending a horrible chemical smell throughout the house. Previous shovel never did this. The should be a warning to use on ASH ONLY or recalled and fixed for the fire issue.
Found it at Lowes
Would RecommendHunted for this tool all over town. I found it at Lowe’s and love it. Next time I’ll look at Lowe’s first.
UNSAFE!!!!!!!
Would Not RecommendDo not buy this. Mine actually caught on fire or at least the paint, which is suppose to be flame retardent/resistant started burning on the shovel and started to slowly climb up the handle. This is unsafe item. Lowes should remove them from the shelf.
Best Wood Stove Shovel
Would RecommendLowes has the best price on this shovel which can be purchased separately without an ash can. Solid well made shovel.
Fire pit scoop
Would RecommendVery sturdy & great to scoop ashes from the fire pit!
The perfect coal shovel
Would RecommendIt is as I named it, the perfect coal shovel. Any time a tool does exactly younexpectbitbto it’s the perfect tool and in this case is a coal shovel.
Feels cheap
Would Not RecommendIf you ONLY use this to scoop ashes out of a cold fire pit, you're fine, but the handle is too short to do anything in a burning fire. It is feels cheap and likely to bend.
