It does not mean it doesn't stain or show marks such as finger prints etc. So, you are going to need to clean it on a regular basis. Would RecommendI tried various products to remove stains and finger prints off of our stainless steel oven that is in the home that we purchased. I saw this product on the Lowe's web site and checked the ratings. I had to try this product as my wife had hinted at getting a new oven since she did not like the stained exterior surface. Just one cleaning created a new oven appearance and the stains are gone. This product works and the $4.98 I paid is definitely more economical than purchasing a new oven!!

Would RecommendI prefer the wipes version of this product. While this product cleaned just as well, the spray was hard to control. Spraying on a cloth and using was no issues. Spraying on the appliance and then wiping it down was the issue. Over-spray made my floors slippery around the appliances.
