What Customers Are Saying
This tile adhesive product has received mixed reviews. Many users found it easy to apply and reported good adhesion, but a significant number experienced issues with the adhesive not curing or drying properly, leading to tiles becoming loose or falling off. Some also noted strong fumes. The product may be suitable for smaller, less demanding tile projects, but may not be reliable for larger jobs or high-moisture areas. Careful consideration of the specific application and product guidelines is recommended before use.

Would Not RecommendThe contents were stiff and could not be mixed to a usable consistency. I returned it for a full refund and went to another store for a different brand.

Hello,
We are sorry you had trouble with Type 1 Mastic. We're not sure what went wrong, but please keep in mind the following when it ...

Worked good

Easy to use - follow the directions
This product was very easy to use, in particular very 'friendly to spread consistently over uneven surfaces. True to the directions, for deeper areas (over .25") you need to patiently develop it in layers. I tried to cheat that which was problematic. Doing it again as the directions state worked out perfectly fine. It dried nicely and made for an even, solid layer from which to lay floor tile.
