WORKS AS ADVERTISED

I am amazed at the number of users who do not understand how these switches work. I have many and they all work as advertised! Yes, if you get in the shower and close the curtain/door, it thinks you are not there and will go OFF when your ON time setting expires..DUH! The cure, either 1) set the ON time to be greater than your average shower time OR 2) use the Manual ON/OFF feature when taking showers OR 3) wave your hand outside or above the curtain/door...turns back ON every time...DUH again! ...

Love the convenience

Installed 3 if these in my home (Study, laundry and bathroom) last month and love them. No more asking kids to switch off lights in the areas which see a lot of foot traffic. Love the convenience. No more stumbling through the laundry room into the house with both hands full of grocery bags. One of these replaced a 3-Way switch. required rewiring but it was simple. Removed one 3-way switch and installed this on the other one. So far all are working as expected and kids love it as one less thin...

Great Sensor

What a great sensor. I installed it in our laundry room and my wife and I love it. It allows you to carry things into the room and not trying to turn on a manual switch.

Great Sensor

This exceeded my expectations. The switch is sensitive and has nice features and programability. It comes with a large instruction sheet that answered a lot of my questions. I am new to the Lutron line, having used mostly Leviton in the past. This sensor is just perfect for my use.

Works well but.

The switch works well but cannot be wired as a traditional 3-way switch. The wiring instructions appear somewhat strange but must be followed or it will not work. I found this out the hard way.

Great switch

I put this in a lighted inside stairwell and it is the best thing I could have done. We often come in from the garage with our hand full. No more searching for the light switch, the light turn on as soon as the door opens and goes off one minute after we close the door. The instructions could be a little clearer. You have to mount this in place of one of the switches AND modify the other switch. I missed this last step and spent an hour troubleshooting. Once I modified the other switch, everyth...

Great motion sensor / light switch

I was concerned when I saw the instructions, but I followed them exactly, and it installed without a problem. I had to change settings for daylight sensor and time the light would stay on, but again, the instructions were thorough and walked me through the steps. My only complaint is that is will activate when it isn't very dim/dark outside, but overall a 5 star product. I have had it for about 3 weeks and all is well.

I Love It

I have a home with poor light switch planning so I sometimes leave lights on unnecessarily at night. The 3-way switch on here I installed it should have been a 4-way. Having switches that turn on and off has been a godsend. I can leave an area at any time and know the lights will go off automatically based on the programming. I love it so much I keep trying to figure out other places where it will work.

Finally, a cure for lights left on

I installed 12 of these around the house. I am now wife-proof. 1 Garage - sensor, 5 minute timeout 1 Pantry - disabled sensor, 5 minute timeout. 3 bathrooms lights - sensor, 15 minute timeout. 3 bathroom fans - sensor, 15 minute timeout. 2 hallways (that are rarely used) - disabled sensor, 5 minute timeout 1 hallway - sensor, 5 minute timeout 1 walk-in closet - disabled sensor, 5 minute timeout Along with going almost entirely LED bulbs, I am hoping to see some slight improvement in electric ...

Great switches

These switches were very easy to install and look nice. When you walk in I wish it wasn't so loud when the switch turns itself on and off but that's tgat only negative I can think of.

Great Sensors

Bought a 3PK of Sensors for the 3 bathrooms. They work very well. Have a number of features, but the kids aren't leaving the light on anymore...Good deal!

Great motion light

We used this light to replace a laundry room switch that was across the room so we would have to cross a dark room and feel for the wall switch in order to turn it on. The switch was easy to replace following instructions and it works great. The light turns on as soon as we take our first step into the room and it will switch off about five minutes after the room has been unoccupied.

Does not work, light stays on all the time

I cannot even hold the button down to changes setting. There is a reason it is cheap. DON'T BUY IT!

Better than flowers!

I just moved into a new house & bought one to put in the garage. I realized that our new house has a dark laundry room and to carry laundry in AND hit the light switch is a challenge for my wife. I bought a second one and installed it easily (I have 10 thumbs) and in no time my wife fell in love with it. She says it's one of the best presents EVER! Guys, consider this next time you're heading to the doghouse.

Maestro indoor motion sensor switch

Installation was easy and the unit works well. A feature that I like is the large push button switch on the front that allows users to override the timer and turn off power manually. I've had two more of the same model in service for two or three years and they have served us well. Cost was reasonable also.

Great purchase

Easy to install and set up if you read the instructions first. I have two of these light switches and they both work great. One I use is in place of a three way and at first I thought I was going to have problems getting it wired but after carefully following the instructions I did it. Multiple set ups let you select how you want the switch to operate. Only drawback is the motion range is broad and very sensitive. I had to put a blinder on one switch to cut back on it's range. Complicated

Instead of following the standard 3 way switch wiring you have to change everything around for this switch AND the convert your other switch to a single pole arrangement. They even give you a forth yellow wire to tie two wires together in that other switch. God help the next person who ever has to figure out what's going on. This light switch looks good and resembles a typical light switch that does not have a sensor. The clicking sound is annoying at first but we soon were able to accept this annoyance; the older switch did the job quietly. This switch is more sensitive to movement and adapts to our time period in the room according to light from outside.
