LED compatible light switch
Worked well with my LED chandelier lights. Lights were flickering with old dimmer switch. No flickering with LED compatible dimmer.

Much better with LED lamps
An energy conservation group had converted incandescent lamps to LEDs. A seton dimmer switch were not working properly, so I looked at the old dimmer and it said "for incandescent lamps only. Replacing the switch with this dimmer, provided more light and smooth operation over the dimming range.

Buyer beware. More $ does not mean better.
Would Not RecommendI bought this dimmer because I bought a new ceiling fan with dimmable led lights. I don't see the difference between this $26 dimmer and a $10 dimmer that has operated any of my other fan lights for the last 40 years. Led or not. This is a high $$ device that is of no substantial improvement over the same device of lesser expense that performs the same function. I expected different. Lesson learned.

Love the backlight
Would RecommendI love that it has a little backlight when it's turned off so you can see the switch in the dark. Then the backlight fades away when there light is on full bright. I like being able to push it on and off and twist it for dimming. It was easy to wire together.
