Would RecommendWhen replacing an older switch, it was difficult to know which is the positive and which is the negative, but the good news is that I figured it out pretty easily and now it works just fine. It feels very solid when I push it in to activate the lights.

Would RecommendAn unfortunate truth I learned before buying this was that you can't just use any LED dimmer with any dimmable LED bulb. They aren't all compatible. I had an Eaton LED dimmer and my lights were always flickering. It was suggested that the Lutron dimmers were better. So far so good. However, the manufacturers of LED dimmer switches maintain databases of which dimmable LED bulbs work with their dimmers. It was a challenge to find the bulbs I wanted that also worked with this dimmer. I'm not sure ...
