Would Not RecommendI bought the Lufkin Premium Tape measure recently and am very disappointed with the quality. In under a week it is crimped and bent.Tape can't handle the strain from getting retracted in. I tried to contact Lukfin via email several days ago to discuss and received no response...Buy a Stanley Fat max instead...stick with a manufacturer that seems to have more concern for their products.

Would RecommendThis is actually my second unit. No, the other one that I've had for over a year is still in great shape. I just tend to misplace it, despite the bright color, while working in my "shop". I have several tapes from the discount store, but the feature I like about this unit is the self centering. It's truly amazing that such a simple feature would be such a time consumer. I would definitely recommend this product.

Would RecommendMy work slows down when I need to half fractions and pull out a calculator. You can figure this out with one glance! Awesome! I really wish I would've know that these exist sooner!

Would RecommendI am a contractor and I use this tape 8 hours a day 6 days a week, it takes me six months off extreme usage before I get another one, but I always replace with this one. Very good tape for the price, I've had almost every tape out there and there is no reason to buy a $20-$40 tape measure no matter what your doing.

Would Not RecommendI received this tape measure as a gift. I own Playhouse Mansions and build on a daily basis. I thought I would give my new tape measure a try. It has an oddly shaped case that doesn't balance very well in your hand. Next it has markings at 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 like a regular tape but it also has the numbers written at each mark. Because of that it's almost impossible to see the marks for an accurate measurement. Positive things I liked are that it's a very well built and sturdy tape with a great end p...
