Would Not RecommendWe all know Lowe's doesn't actually care but these bales of pine needles are comically small compared to the advertisement claim of 40sq feet coverage at 3-4" depth. 1 MIGHT cover 8sq feet max. Would not recommend buying these at all.

Stale/dry/old pine straw
Would Not RecommendI had purchased 60 bales from a local farm and garden and paid $70 for delivery. Needed about 10 bales more. Didn’t want another $70 delivery fee. Picked up the 10 bales at Lowe’s. Pick up process was pretty smooth. Not perfect. But when I spread the Lowe’s pine straw vs versus the farm and garden I was surprised that the Lowe’s pine straw was hard to separate, was gray in color, had old gross leaves in it. Definitely, it was not fresh pine straw. Don’t waste your money,

Bales Not Size Portrayed
Would Not RecommendThese bales are not 40 sq. ft, more like half that size. The bales are also old. The price advertised was also $4.34 but we were charged $7.28 per bale. The girl in the store said the $4.34 price was for ordering online and picking up in store, which is what we did, but still charged the $7.28 per bale. Would not recommend this product and don't like the "bait and switch" angle either. Very unprofessional.
