4700 Lumen LED Area Light

The ballast was going bad in my HP Sodium light and it was my second in 6 years. I decided to try one of these because they don't have a ballast. Like someone else posted I got one with a bad photo cell, the light wouldn't even come on. After checking my wiring I swapped it out with the photo cell from my old light and it works great. Very disappointed to spend over $100 and it came with a defective part. I'm going to see if Lowes will swap the defective photo cell from this new light for a new ...

LED LIGHT

I decided to go with this type instead of the cheaper $40.00 light like I had which only lasted a year. At double the cost I expect a much longer life. It is best mounted to a flat surface. I had to modify the mount and add clamps for it to work on the extension arm pipe. The directions were of zero help. It puts out good white light. We'll see how it lasts. Its a throw a way light since no parts are serviceable .

nice security light

Replaced an old security light that had stopped working, about 20' up on a utility pole. Easy to install, and really lights up the area well.

I would buy it again

This is my second light. I put one on my garage and 1 on my son's garage . I'm well pleased with both lights. Easy installation and puts out lots of light.

This little lite has awesome shine!

My security light went out and was replaced by this newer Lithonia Lighting LED and what a difference it makes! It puts out a bright light from dusk to dawn each night. It is smaller than the old one but does a better job.

Brilliant bright white light, not yellow. More energy efficient and no noise or buzzing.

This light is awesome! Using it as an outside security light. It really puts out the light into different areas making it easier to see what is around (more than expected area coverage).

Good looking light. Is very bright. Just right for dark locations and the dusk to dawn is great.
