Good design. Looks robust. Light quality is bright white. Good coverage.

Shipped wrong light but it was in the right box.

Box was right but had the wrong light in it. Had to drive 15 miles one way to take it back.

Works As Advertised

I was a bit skeptical as a few others have complained about this light. I've had it up for about a month and a half and have no complaints. It puts out a white light that is very bright, much brighter than the yellow of the mercury vapor lights, which I've always used. This is my first LED area light. Installation was as easy as can be expected working 30 feet up on an extension ladder. Easy to assemble though I recommend doing it on the ground. One thing they should add to the instructions though - They say to position the photo eye to the North....that might be true if you are mounting it on a pole or away from a house, but if you are mounting it on the side of a white house, especially a white vinyl siding house you should position the photocell eye away from the house. We had a time doing that 20+ feet up after mounting the fixture. Before doing that, the light would blink ...

Bright White Light

Easy to install. It gives a nice strong white light which illuminates a front section of the house and driveway. It was a great buy.

Bright white light with low power draw

Bought this light to replace an older mercury vapor HID light. The old light used 175 watts of power, and was not as bright as this 41 watt LED light is.

Reliable and sturdy

The frame feels strong and heavy duty, but is still light enough that it’s easy to mount. The internal components seem to be high quality. The last two LED yard lights we had, weren’t dependable or consist. Most of the time they worked, but wouldn’t come on some days, with no explanation. This light works great, every day, with no problems. Plus it’s very bright and makes our driveway/parking area, safer. I’m very happy with this purchase.

LED Security Light

This light has risen the bar for poor design. The first give away was the 14mm bolts holding the wire cover. Two small screws would suffice, but bolts? 14mm at that! Anyhow, 25 feet up a ladder against the barn, the mounting holes lined up perfectly and got a secure fixture. Pulled in the wire and affixed with a stress clamp in the lights cover. Went to install the cover and would not fit. Not enough room from the wall to light to angle the wiring cover. Loosened the fixture and still ...

Limited life span

The light worked great for almost 2 years. I replaced the photocell and tested all the connections to no avail. The light went bad.

New install...

The hardest part was probably supposed to be the easiest and that was attaching the shroud. The supplied screws were about 1/16” to short. Maybe if I were not barely hanging off a ladder I could have made them work. Instead I drilled the holes out and tapped for 10-24 threads because I had some 1/2” long chamfered screws that worked better than the 1/4” long #8?s it came with. That’s probably unnecessary if you are smart enough to assemble on the ground first, not save it to end like I did. Took...
