No leaking issues like others mention, easy to clean the lid and the canister. Mouthpiece works well. Water tastes neutral, which is good, I don't want a fishy smell or taste, or chlorine taste. Took to Mexico but still got revenge. Nearly impossible to avoid contaminated water there, ice in drinks, food, etc. While I do think this helped minimize the revenge, we were faithful and only drank from this, even poured bottled water into this. Enjoying the lifestraw bottle especially for bike rides. I love that I can refill while out on a ride and stil enjoy safe clean water! I Suggest making a stainless steel bottle that keeps water cold longer

I like it alot.
I like the LifeStraw water bottle. I just started using it while traveling and not knowing if the water source available at my stops is clean and safe. Water tastes good coming out of it. Have not had to use it for any off the grid water sources yet. Going to be doing 9 National parks and 3-4 state parks soon so may get a chance to test it out. Only negative for me is- it is hard to draw from. Need to apply a fair amount of suction to get water out.

The water tastes great. Like the hook on the bottle... helps toting alot. The only thing is having to suck hard to get enough water. I read that after a couple of fills this will ease. But it hasn't. Getting used to it.

Delivered and works exactly as advertised. I got this for a trip to Portugal and Spain and have loved testing it out at home! Just be aware the straw takes more effort than most so if you have any jaw problems this may not be for you.

It’s a great idea and necessary if you are not near decent water but if you’re thirsty it’s just too hard to suck water through fast enough to be good for everyday use

A little big for me
Lifestraw is pretty easy to use and low maintenance. However the 1L is kind of big for someone with smaller hands, and when full it is very heavy to carry around all day. I think something this size should probably have a handle. I would not hook the carabiner to anything I was wearing or carrying. I might order the smaller size instead.

Nice design, liked the clip but for everyday use it’s a bit challenging to suck the water through which made it easy to choose plastic bottled water instead of it were available.

I have been using it for a few months now while traveling in Asia and it is great. It works perfectly and it is very practica. You can have clean water so easily in countries where usually you have to buy bottles at the supermarket (plus it is better for the environment).
