The only way to go
I've been using these for day hikes and backpacking for a decade now. Have replaced filters and recommended them to everyone I know. If I'm sure we're hiking near water, this is the only bottle I carry, which makes my pack several pounds lighter than if I had a couple litres in a bladder or separate bottles. I just bought this 4-pack to share and have back-ups in case they discontinue this model. Pro-tip: read the instructions on storage to to keep the filter happy.

Works great while traveling in large cities
I used my LifeStraw bottle for the first time while traveling and staying in a large US city. I used it in the airports and with the tap water in the city. The tap water smelled awful, but once it was in the LifeStraw bottle it tasted good and the smell was gone too!

I am a nomad. So i travel a lot and to many different countries. This water bottle seemed to be a fantastic way to not have to worry about how super clean the water is everywhere I go.
