Fun backyard game
Bought a few weeks ago, gave to our son for his 8th birthday, assembled easily enough. Only issue is the metal locking assembly for attaching the ball will not stay closed!!! It seems to have a defect because after every game you have to retighten it closed. It continues to open despite trying different positions and having to screw it closed every 10 minutes or so! Happy with rest of set up but something isn’t right in this important detail!

Tetherball quality not to good
I bought this in November of 2023, and I was surprised to see the cheap plastic ring that holds the rope for the ball, I thought that would be the first thing to break, but it wasn't, the ball was the first thing to come apart from the string, it's only held up by Fabric, I'm actually surprised that it lasted this long before ripping

sturdy but ball strap shreds in mere days
on the one hand, the most sturdy tetherball set of the half-dozen i've ever bought! but on the other, the strap on the ball that attaches it to the cord that attaches to the pole frayed and tore after less than a full week of steady usage

Quality piece and great customer service when needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this tether ball game. Someone at my house removed the top part of the tether ball pole to kick the ball around and we never found it. I contacted the company and they are sending me the replacement part. It’s 3 years old so out of warranty but reasonably priced part is being shipped. Excellent quality, excellent customer service.

Comes disconnected easily
Nice set but for some reason the hook that connects the rope to the pole comes undone easily so I have to reattach it quite frequently. Not as sturdy as I expected either, but overall I am happy with my purchase.
