Bad ice maker

The refrigerator works great. The ice maker did not work well since we bought it. Finally had to have it replaced. Not even a year old.

Icemaker

.I bought this model because I wanted an icemaker and cold water dispenser. I bought this in August of 2022 (less than a year ago) The water line started leaking and after 3 phone calls I finally convinced them to send a repairman put. He put a new part on but the water was warm and the icemaker doesn't work. He ordered a compressor now and will be 5 more business days before coming back. I don't believe a less than a year old refrigerator should need a compressor. Less than happy. I doub...

Great fridge!

I love the side by side doors. I can see the food I have in the freezer better than the drawer freezer. The fridge is great and it works great.

ALL GOOD BUT THE ICE MAKER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the appliance is good except for the ice maker. It just can't keep up. Started out ok but then started to take longer to fill up the bin. Even with the ice plus setting on. Just had them come out to repair and they replaced the ice unit and it's still the same. Other than that it's a good unit. We are a family of 3 and have this issue. If you're a larger familiy it'd a be a bigger issue i'm sure.

Ice Makers not so good!!!

Bought this refrigerator about six months ago and the ice maker keeps tripping and needs resetting every two days.

Nice Storage, but a few design flaws

Have had this frig for about 6 months. While we like the storage space, there are a few design flaws that I definitely DO NOT like. 1 > Ice/Water Dispenser - This is a pain as far as making the selection for ice cubes/water/crushed. Definitely prefer having separate methods of selecting ice vs water. The biggest PAIN is there is NO drip collection for splashes of water, AND the ice tends to fall all over the place during dispensing. The ice cube auger also tends to get clogged easily... ha...

LG doesn't stand behind products

After almost a year of owning this item the ice and water stopped. It was still under warranty so I called LG. They said they would get back to me. After 3 days I called back. This one said call this # and ditto till the 5th call. They said take out the extended warranty. I called to do that and the girl was honest and said it won't be covered it was preexisting. After paying $400 for a water intake valve they call back. Fax the receipt and we'll see. They paid 1/2. Well what good is the warrant...

new frig.

I bought it afew months ago because i needed to replace my other frig.We looked around and liked this model and it was in stock . It doesnt make a lot of ice keep running out.even tho it has a setting for more ice.had to have a repair man look at it. He said it is working fine but the freezer you have to keep an eye on and cant put a lot of food in the doors. over all i nice frig

Disappointed

Bought this about a month ago & disappointed that the water is never cold or even cool & the ice maker either takes days to replenish or there is an issue with the ice maker with this model or my refrigerator. There's never enough ice for even one person to have 3-4 glasses of ice per day?!

side by side refrigerator

I bought this to replace another brand that had many problems within the first 1 1/2 years. Although I like the refrigerator my concerns are the size of the ice container in the freezer and the ability to open the bottom draw in the freezer. The ice container is much smaller than any I ever had. The bottom draw in the freezer was impossible to open as it hit the door when I opened it. Perfect Replacement

Sleek design

We bought this refrigerator after searching for months. We are quite pelased with it, however, the ice maker takes a VERY long time!

We bought it a year ago. I'm not happy with the chemical smell coming from both sides. Food tastes funny and so does the ice.
