I had to wait a couple extra days because it was out of stock but it was worth the wait

Better than expected

So far we love this AC. It's 8,000 btu, a larger unit than we need for a bedroom but we plan to run it on high and open the door to help the main unit cool the place when we have our next heatwave. It's early fall now but we've been running this unit 24/7 set on 68deg to make sure there are no problems. This is what we found: It looks great, controls are user friendly. Horrible experience

Freon leaked out in transit. Horrible experience. Working with LG now for reimbursement for unit and installation I had to pay for twice. Bought a second unit, same model, and now it's working. Braking my back

Good product. This is my 3 rd LG 8k btu in 4 years. Slowly replacing GE and Frederick as they brake. Wish it was carried in the stores but internet only.

Great room air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this air conditioner 1 week ago. It works very well and I like having the remote control. Installation was easy. On low fan speed air conditioner is quiet. On high fan speed cools the room down quickly. Filter is much easer to remove then older models.

Very capable efficient air conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase 8,000 btu air conditioner to replace a aging 8,000 btu competitors until. I’m amazed how these new window air conditioners have advanced. This LG unit cools the same area the competitors unit did but the difference is the speed and it’s ability to drive the interior temperature to a cooler temperature. This unit is also quiet! We are able to carry on a normal conversation!

WiFi works great for remote control.

Best air conditioner ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best air conditioner ever I bought is too cool part of my home and it's actually cooling the entire home and I love the energy efficient mode and the dry mode which is dehumidifier and also the remote features it's just the best and very inexpensive on energy with the energy star rating

Works great for 4 weeks

Then it started getting loud. As if a leaf is stuck inside a fan. I cant open the welded box but now its starting to sound like plastic bearings wearing out.
