Poor quality

If I could rate 0 stars I would!! After 3 years only 2 out of 5 of the knobs are functional meaning I can only safely use two burners. Poor design, cheaply made! The cost of replacement knobs is so high that it is more cost efficient to buy a new range, which is what I will be doing. You can be sure it will not be an LG!!!!!

Do Not Buy - Gas Leak

We purchased this product in May. Nice looking cooktop. We never used the burners on the front of the stove due to child safety precautions. Over the past three months there was a buildup of gas leaking from one of the valves in the manifold, and one day caused an explosion that blew our cabinet doors open. We contacted the gas company and one of their technicians discovered where the leak was coming from and told use to stop using it immediately. Not comfortable with using this product so we...

my new cooktop was installed June 10th. I really like it....it does cook hotter than my previous one, but it was 26 yrs. old.

BAD QUALITY, LOOKS BAD AFTER YOU START USING IT.

I bought this cooktop a month ago Because it looks great when it's unused in the store display. But you will regret it after you start using it. It's not possible to clean the cooktop using the recommended method from LG. also tried different cooktop cleaners. nothing works and it looks bad after a month. LG Customer Care refused to replace the burner caps, head, and griddle because the stains are NOT covered under warranty.

Updated: Lighter keeps turning ON (Resolved)

Update : I contacted LG and they immediately responded with a service technician the next day itself. The connection in the electrical point was reversed and it caused the lighting. Once I fixed it as they recommended, the lighting stopped. I am changing the rating as result of it. I was also very happy with the speedy response from LG. The lighter keeps lighting very 2 secs. Great cooktop!

Great cooktop! Like the layout of the burners and controls. The 20,000 BTU center burner works well and the ability to turn the burners down to a very low simmer is handy. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that there's no "burner on" indicator light. Other gas cooktops we've had featured them and it was helpful to know, at a glance, whether a burner had inadvertently been left on. That being said, just check the burners and knob positions before leaving the kitchen.

Poor service

It’s not the product it’s the service. Item ordered on May 20. Told it would be in on May 29. On May 31 went to the store and spoke to the manager, Jerry. He said Jacob would call me Monday morning, June 3. Didn’t hear from him. Went to the store today, Tuesday, June 4 and spoke to Ni, she said she would reach out to LG to get an eta on the delivery. As of 5 pm I haven’t heard anything. Please advise before I cancel my order and installation.
