Would Not RecommendBought this dryer 3 months ago and the motor now makes grinding noises and produces a burnt smell. In order to have repair service you have the spend hours with an online chat bot that expects you to take the machine apart and try to fix it yourself for "troubleshooting." They will not send a tech or let you speak with tier 2 support. I will never buy an LG product again in my life and I certainly won't be shopping at Lowe's anymore either.
Dryer settings difficult to customize
I am not a fan of this dryer. It is very difficult to customize settings like temperature and time. I guess the idea is to use their preset settings, but they are honestly terrible and will shrink all of your clothes if you do not adjust the settings. So basically the only feather you can use is quick dry in order to adjust the time and temp.

Would Recommendthis will be my third LG purchase. The first unit I bought approximately 15 years ago finally developed an issue so I had it looked at and the repair cost was through the roof. I wanted to buy another double stack like I purchased about two years ago, but unfortunately, there’s not enough room so I went with the single units. I bought front loading washers.twice before bust decided to go top loading and WOW!!! What an awesome experience.

Would RecommendWe've had the dryer for about a month now, and it's been excellent. I like the AI feature that decides exactly how to handle the load we put in. I also like that the door can open two different ways.
Be sure dryer door set up works for you
The dryer is capacious and working great so far. The only problem is that the dryer door only opens about a 1/3 of the way and does not go all the way down. Thus, it's awkward to have to reach in the dryer to remove dried clothes. If you are large framed, it would be really hard. From researching the issue online, it looks like maybe the door can be attached so it swings open from one side all the way. HOWEVER, the installation folks should explain this feature and confirm WHICH WAY YOU WANT THE...
