One week's worth of laundry in one load

Wellworth the additional money I can stuff an entire week's worth of laundry towels, sheets and all of my clothes in one load. I did notice I connected it to a 5 -20 R receptacle they cut the wash time from 90 minutes down to 34. I was washing some bath mats. So I think it does sense the voltage. And current draw is above 10 amps I believe because it runs much better when I plug it into the the 20 amp outlet it's faster. Runs the cycles faster. I digress. This machine is a monster. Child lock isn’t actually childproof

My biggest complaint is that the Control Lock feature “aka child lock” applies to every button/knob except the power button. Guess which button my toddler likes to press? So what’s the point of having that feature if it doesn’t apply to every button? I hope they change this feature in future models.

Deeply Regret the Purchase

Generally good cleaning performance, but the design of the door gaskets traps water and creates the nastiest buildup of bacteria and slime -- even while using the cleaning tablets and regular cleaning routines. The gasket design not only traps the water, but makes cleaning virtually impossible. Regretting the purchase. Seriously considering trashing this and buying a top loading washing machine.

I just wanted to come here to say i bought this washer and matching dryer a couple years ago to replace my hideous Speed queen. This Lg washer and matching dryer has been the best set i have ever owned! Im a 59 year old women and had had several new sets through the years.

Great replacement for old LG washer

Good machine that should be reliable

I bought this washer and a new dryer to replace my 15 year old LG machines. There was nothing wrong with the old machines except for some rust on the top. I thought it was also leaking water which stopped when i properly cleaned out the filer mechanism. It has required no servicing. The new machine is pretty much the same as the old one. Excellent features and function

This is a large washer that works well. There are plenty of options to tailor the wash cycle to specific needs, including a pre-wash, spin only and extra rinse functions. The washer is quiet and cleans efficiently. Even the quick wash is effective. This was a good solid purchase.

Moldy Health Hazard

Unit gets moldy. Have thoroughly cleaned the detergent dispenser, gasket and drum and still smells moldy and gives me a headache when near it. Will likely get rid of it for a top load washer that doesn’t have a detergent dispenser.

Constantly Breaking

We have had this washer for about a year and have already had someone out to service it twice for leaking, unbalanced load errors, and an issue with it walking across the floor and totally blocking our laundry room door. The technician replaced a lot of components that may have been the culprit, but he did not actually pinpoint the cause (which, fine, it seemed to work). Great machine but stinky :(

Bought this a month ago...I love it but the smell coming from the rubber gasket is more than I can bear. I pray it eases up with time...if not they need to replace this one. I know rubber off gases but this is not just a rubber smell. Staying hopeful.

Simple, cold wash tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st day using this machine. I studied this for 6 months, paid attention to every detail, looked for the limited features I actually wanted and mulled over size, finally deciding on this huge baby. Next, getting familiar by washing 6 big bath towels. Success. Then a tub clean with a Tide cleaner packet. While the tub still smells "new" the clothes coming out are immaculate. Let's hope this keeps up. I highly suggest watching the videos on YouTub...

I think this machine was designed for save water , there is no reason to buy a big machine a big machine because I bought a big one and I only can wash a little bit clothes and use a heavy duty cicle, that’s mean I spend more power and water using extra rinse one it . I don’t recommend this machine

Good for nothing

This brand new washer stopped working 2 months after purchasing and I’m still waiting for it to get fixed!!!! So much money and time wasted going to the laundromat because I’m still without a washing machine!! We are thinking of just getting another one and selling this piece of garbage after it gets fixed if that!!!

No satisfied

I bought this big machine in order to wash enough clothes , it doesn’t clean well my clothes , I request a returning number to LG No one help me with it in order I can get anothe model . There is no enough water in this machine. I need another one .
