Doesn't clean clothes / Doesn't dissolve Tide Pods

We purchased this washer and matching dryer in November and I fully regret it. I specifically asked if I could use Tide Pods and the sales associate said "definitely". The machine does not dissolve the Tide Pods. Even on warm cycle so I had to switch to liquid detergent. It didn't matter anyway. The washing machine does not get clothes clean. So many shirts have been ruined because they're not getting clean. Even used the heavy duty wash with hot water. I wish I could return this set. I wasted ...

Moldy Health Hazard

Unit gets moldy. Have thoroughly cleaned the detergent dispenser, gasket and drum and still smells moldy and gives me a headache when near it. Will likely get rid of it for a top load washer that doesn’t have a detergent dispenser.

Constantly Breaking

We have had this washer for about a year and have already had someone out to service it twice for leaking, unbalanced load errors, and an issue with it walking across the floor and totally blocking our laundry room door. The technician replaced a lot of components that may have been the culprit, but he did not actually pinpoint the cause (which, fine, it seemed to work). Depth specifications are not accurate

Depth specifications are not accurate - 28" is reported as the depth when the depth is actually 34". We returned the machine because it didn't fit.

Great machine but stinky :(

Bought this a month ago...I love it but the smell coming from the rubber gasket is more than I can bear. I pray it eases up with time...if not they need to replace this one. I know rubber off gases but this is not just a rubber smell. Staying hopeful.

Simple, cold wash tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st day using this machine. I studied this for 6 months, paid attention to every detail, looked for the limited features I actually wanted and mulled over size, finally deciding on this huge baby. Next, getting familiar by washing 6 big bath towels. Success. Then a tub clean with a Tide cleaner packet. While the tub still smells "new" the clothes coming out are immaculate. Let's hope this keeps up. I highly suggest watching the videos on YouTub...

I think this machine was designed for save water , there is no reason to buy a big machine a big machine because I bought a big one and I only can wash a little bit clothes and use a heavy duty cicle, that’s mean I spend more power and water using extra rinse one it . I don’t recommend this machine

Good for nothing

This brand new washer stopped working 2 months after purchasing and I’m still waiting for it to get fixed!!!! So much money and time wasted going to the laundromat because I’m still without a washing machine!! We are thinking of just getting another one and selling this piece of garbage after it gets fixed if that!!!

No satisfied

I bought this big machine in order to wash enough clothes , it doesn’t clean well my clothes , I request a returning number to LG No one help me with it in order I can get anothe model . There is no enough water in this machine. I need another one .

Don't buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine gives constant u5 errors when washing sheets. It wads them up in a ball, no matter how you place them in the washer. It's like the impellers are to small. It's not anything as good as my old lg.

Disappointed. Expected better than older one.

I bought this after my 12 year old LG top loader died. Since l was having unbalance load problems with the older washer I thought that a bigger capacity front loader would solve my problems. Nope. I have had my washer for a couple of weeks and the loads are even smaller than before. I never had unbalanced load issues with my previous washer until after I had it over a decade. Now in order to have a complete cycle without interruptions, I now have to do multiple small loads. Not what I expect for...

Repair is a issue

Just under a year and a sensor goes out. It has taken 2 visits to determine problem. Still waiting on part to arrive. Almost 1 month. Sad.

Still eating clothes each load.

This is our 3rd front load washer in the last 25 years. In all that time, one would think that the companies could figure out how to prevent the machine from putting little holes all throughout lighter fabrics.
