Terrible Dishwasher, don't bother buying

LG's quality is terrible. Look elsewhere for a dishwasher. Warranty only covers failing pumps within a year, but most conveniently fail shortly afterwards. The cost to get a replacement part is nearly the price of a new dishwasher, and you'll see way too many posts online about this same issue. Will not be buying any LG product again.

Great

It been a great dishwasher other then the fact you open during its cycle it does not shut off like most dishwashers do when you open the door. The front panel is way to sensitive.

Short lifespan

Be careful buying an LG product. Purchased a similar 24" Quadwash (50dB) in May 2023 to replace a Whirlpool that failed after 'only' 5 years, just to have the LG last <28 months. The pump/motor unit started making an awful buzz, and in trying to troubleshoot that, we found the top wash rack had rusted completely through in an unseen spot in the back. Low quality racks and inside oarts

Racks are super thin, all of mine are bent, the part that hooks to the spray hose at the back on top has come lose, this washer is very low quality. I am very disappointed

Excellent, except for the control lock

Great dishwasher and was working like a dream until I found out that the control locks are for everything but the power button. There is a lot to do in a kitchen while the dishes are going but now I'm absolutely maddened by the fact that I cannot come near the microwave to do anything at the risk of brushing against the power button and stopping a cycle that's been going on for an hour with another hour left to go. a few cheap plastic parts ruin it

Not sure why the spray arms keep falling off by themselves or why they are detachable or why there are no instructions to reattach them properly in the manual. Also the filter is plastic which attracts a ton of grease into spots that are impossible to reach and become disgusting quickly.

Dirty Dishes,Clean Them Up

Stupidly designed control(less) panel

Control from my phone but not from the dishwasher control panel, Did you get a Xmas bonus for that STUPID IDEA?!

It works mostly fine.

We've had our dishwasher for over two years now. It's fine, but no matter what we do it never quite dries our dishes (and yes, we've done all of the appropriate troubleshooting). It recently stopped working, and we were told that this model has a part that often needs to be replaced (the factory part is slightly defective). All in all, it's fine for the price, but I should have done more research into other models.

It has 1 hour turbo wash which is great.

Home depo and had to replace it one year later ! It was the holiday and needed it to work got a new Bosh Ausome product!!

Broken control panel

I’ve had dishwasher LG ThinQ installed for a little over a year. Love the way it cleans but my control panel broke as another customer said he’s has broken 3 times. We went to visit friends. They have the same model and theirs was also broken.

It's very easy to operate and incredibly quiet. One potential qualm (not for us): the buttons are very sensitive, so it's easy to press a button you weren't intending to press. Either way, I absolutely love it.

Brakes every year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had it for 3 years. Every year the control panel breaks in the same spot, I have had it fixed and it keeps happening. This dishwasher is built to break every year and they it's expensive. Don't buy it and if you have it save up for a different dishwasher.
