Excellent But Requires Care

We purchased this machine in April 2024. For context, we had a Whirlpool All in One that was a horrible piece of junk. True 8-hour dry times, clogged constantly had it serviced twice a year. This machine is SO different. We loved the all in one concept so took a chance. It has a large capacity, washes well, and dries quickly. Honest Review

I was hesitant. This is a great machine for a single or couple, NOT a family. Use the AI setting, takes less time to wash/dry. I love that I don't have to dispense detergent/softener each cycle. LOVE that I can put a load in and walk away. No complaints with wash or dry time for load size.

Bad decision

The drying factor isn’t working well. It’s like it got clogged and now I have to dry two cycles instead of the one. It leaks from the bottom. It was great at first. Something is wrong with it. It’s so hard to get ahold of LG care to get them to come out and look at it. I wish I had an original washer and dryer not the combo

Faulty Machine. DO NOT BUY

Don’t get this product. It’s nice at first and pretty and the idea of having a washer and dryer combo is a cool idea. It is quiet, but not efficient in drying properly. Pet hair is an issue too. You can’t wash large loads of laundry and expect them to dry. You have to run a dry cycle 4-5 times sometimes to even get your clothes remotely dry. A great washer AND dryer!

We are *delighted* with this product! We have been using it for about 6 months and have had no problems. One caution: unlike single purpose machines it is important to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! Don’t overload and make sure to clean the filter on the top of the machine after every use. It can do sheets, towels and heavier items without a problem as long as you don’t overload. Heavy but convenient.

I own the previous model of this and it kind of just died all of a sudden. It feels a little coincidental that I finally put it on the LG app after a few years and all of a sudden now my dryer function doesn't work. Don’t waste your money or time

I just read a review that I could have written. We have had this unit for just over a year. An LG technician has been out to “repair” it 3 times. It worked fine during the 30 day exchange period. After that, drying times kept increasing. It got to a point when it thinks the load is dry but it is still damp. We did what we had to get our clothes dry: we split loads and ran by dry only loads. Love the clothes cleaning system

Washes and dries perfectly! Love all the wash/dry cycles. Absolutely no drying issues. Dried towels perfectly.

Big disappointment

I have been trying to get the washer/dryer fixed since February 4. American Home Shield has had service people here 10 times and they still haven’t fixed it. It leaks from underneath and the dryer won’t shut off. It keeps running until manually shut off. I would never recommend it to anyone.

You will regret buying this

I regret this purchase. This does not work well. It takes the whole day to dry a load and even after that the clothes are still damp and need to be air dry.

Misleading customers in the capabilities

The product fails and truly does not really function as a dryer. In fact to get your cloths dried one would have to wait days before your clothes became sufficiently dry enough to avoid catching ammonia. It was so bad we had to buy a stand alone dryer in order to insure we had dry clothes to ware.
