Not good

Dries poorly compared to gas dryers even when new and operating with all filters clean, water tank empty, and "Energy Saver" off. Its companion washer performs poorly compared even to a base model LG washer that is 10 years older, failing to get clothing as clean and free of odor as one would want. The fundamental design of these units is simply bad. They are ineffective and waste time and energy.

Best I've had in 50 years

I live in a old RV. I'm retired and I had a machine that did both wash and dry and I wasn't satisfied with the dry part, had to hang clothes out all the time. When it wore out I decided to buy just a washing machine and I picked this LG because it would fit in my space. I LOVE THIS MACHINE. It washes and spins my clothes so good and it hold more than my old machine. It was expensive but well worth it. I have a Panda 110 dryer above it that I also love. My RV is 30 amp.

Worst purchase ever/ Do not buy

I purchased the LG WM1455HWA washer expecting reliability, but unfortunately, it didn’t even last two years—and now it leaks water. At first, the washer worked fine and did a decent job cleaning clothes. However, over time, it started leaking, which is extremely frustrating for an appliance at this price point (around $1,000+). A washer should last many years, not fail this quickly under normal use. The leak creates a real inconvenience and potential damage risk to floors and surrounding areas...

Great machine so far. Clothes come out fresh and clean. Lowe’s service was speedy and efficient.

Rebate for damager question

The machine was delivered with a small dent in the lower left side when viewed from the front. The driver saw it and called it in and told me I would get a $200 rebate for damage. I have not seen or heard anything about that rebate yet. What happened to the rebate?

Awful, do not buy. Horrible wrinkles

While in theory this seems like a great idea for small spaces, it’s an awful appliance. It isn’t just this brand either, I’ve had a whirlpool combo and now this LG Thinq. It can get really loud, it does not dry clothes well at all, often leaving them damp. It also leaves clothes very wrinkled. It’s rare my clothes come out wrinkle free no matter what I do to try to prevent wrinkles, including wrinkle protection and taking the clothes out as soon as they’re done. BOUNCING MACHINE

I have tried to like this machine but it bounces a dangerous amount. Tonight the drain hose almost came out because of how far the washing machine moved. It’s been a few weeks and at first I thought it was the size or weight of the loads, so I modified my loads. Then I checked to make sure it was still level. Then I used rubber cushions. Then I replaced the little sandpaper squares that go under the feet. All this while it spins on low or medium. Imagine a high spin!

We moved into a condo with this dryer pre installed because its ventless. It was pretty much new. It worked fine at first but then like others have complained, it got worse and worse at drying over time and needed multiple cycles for many hours to dry one load of wash. Maybe I'm an idiot but I did not realize there are TWO lint filters in this dryer, the normal one that pulls out and then another inner lint filter in the same spot but deeper down, which doesn't look like it comes out but actuall...

Great for NYC Apartment

Small size works well in an NYC apartment. Stacks nicely with the corresponding dryer. Looking forward to having an in-unit washer.
