Diabolocal? Maybe not

Pleasantly surprised

It showed up quicker than expected and fit perfectly. I waited to write a review until I had a chance to use it, but so far... it's working great!

This fits the 80v Kobalt Trimmer

I am not sure why the other reviews state that this does not fit the Kobalt 80v Trimmer, unless there is a different model number for the trimmer. in the description, it lists the two model numbers this is compatible with. This fits it perfectly. I do wish they had these in the store, but since they have to be ordered from Lowes, just make sure you order two so you can be ahead. Other than that, take off the top part, insert it into your trimmer, and enjoy.

Does Not fit

This is not a part to fit the 40 volt Kobalt trimmer.

New trimmer head will not fit older trimmers.

The trimmer head would not fit on my Kobalt 80 volt trimmer. The threads were slightly different from my trimmer and I could not make it thread on.

Item did not fit unable to get spool to screw onto 80V weedeater

Replacement Spool is useless

Thought this would extend the life of my Kobalt 80v weed eater but I was wrong. It takes a rocket surgeon to first figure out how to remove the old trimmer head. Then it takes Superman strength to undo the screw that holds the trimmer head to the frame. After that, the new head will not thread back into the frame. Simply can’t get the bolt threads on the frame to start connecting to the female threads on the replacement trimmer. I now have a useless paperweight.
