Would Not RecommendThis product did not fit my 40v Max Electric String Trimmer by Kobalt. I bought two of them at 12 bucks plus each, not including tax. The hub did not even remotely resemble the hub on my 40v Max trimmer. I had to remove the string and put it on my hub. I bought these to make replacement easy, it was a HUGE disappointment. I would advise against buying this product.

Take trimmer to store for a proper spool fit.
Does not fit the trimmer it was listed for. The product is well made and looks to be of high quality, however, this " recommended " spool is not correct for the 40-volt trimmer it was listed with. I read the other reviews and incorrectly thought I would receive the right one. The trimmer and spool were ordered online at the same time. Would Not RecommendLike many others, I was recommended this spool by a Lowe’s employee as replacement line for the Kobalt 40V Max trimmer I purchased as a combo pack, and it doesn’t fit my trimmer, despite the package saying “Fits Kobalt dual line string trimmers.” It’s not even close. At this point I’m having a hard time finding ANY spools that fit this trimmer. I feel scammed, 1000%.
