I bought this table a couple of years ago and after a month or so the height adjustment broke and the router would fall out of the collar. Thinking that I did something wrong I kept the machine and rarely used it. Recently I started a project that required a router and tries to use the broken one again but this was just not going to work. Router table

I would not recommend this to anyone. I purchased because I needed a table for an upcoming project. While setting up my bit and using PVC trim board scraps the router quit. The table does not multiple attachment points that would allow the use of other brands of routers. If the router could not hold up to pvc it would never last with hardwoods. I would not recommend this to anyone. Waste of $$$$. Returned back to the store for a refund.

Perfect for small and medium jobs.

Great product for an advert he home owner . I don’t think this would stand the test of commercial use but I used it to replace all the trim in my house and to help customize some cabinet doors. It was easy to set up and ran like a champ.

Could Be SOOO Much Better...

...with just some design changes that *shouldn't* cost Kobalt anything. On/Off Switch Fails

I used this router table for approx 2yrs, roughly 5 times per year. The on/off switch failed. After plugging in the table the router bit came on and thankful i did not lose a finger. Router table switch failure. Be careful,when supplying power make sure you are not near router bit.

Great Tool

This a great router at this price point. I used it to round over a butcher block desktop. Easy assembly and clear instructions.

Terrible and unsafe design

This is an absolutely awful design. The measurements are cast into the aluminum at 1/4” intervals. The switch is very easy to hit accidentally while making adjustments - a huge safety problem. The top will not accept any aftermarket clamps or feather boards. The vertical adjustment is hit or miss and the router often falls out of the table. solid table and good router

good deal for a solid table and good router, but the vertical adjustment on the cutting tool doesn't hold tight and it's a very crude adjustment, there's no fine adjustment to get it just right. After a couple oak boards the bit drops down and the cut is incomplete. Once I tightened the band clamp on the router w a screw driver it seems to be holding.

Buy it in store, worth about $120

I like the actual product, good for small occasional projects. What I don't like is Lowes sending me a used product when I paid for a new product, that's just straight fraud. I'm fine with open box items but A) You have to advertise the item as such B) I expect to pay open box prices not new item prices. So if you actually get what you pay for then I say it's worth it but try to avoid having it shipped because that's were Lowes seems to drop the ball.
