Kobalt Faucet Change-out Tool
Would RecommendI bought This Kobalt Faucet Change-out Tool 3 days ago. This weekend I used it change the 2 bathrooms faucets. I like short cylinder keeps falling out, it does not fit snugly enough to the plastic body. I am thinking I might return it. Laying on your back under the bathroom faucets is not a good time for the parts (short & long cylinders) to slip out of the tool's plastic body. I wish Kobalt would redesign the parts and upgrade the short and long cylinders to fit tighter in the body and not fall...

Would RecommendThe manager suggested this because as a female I am not very strong and can't do many things on my own for that one reason. This tool made it possible, I still had to use some effort but before even with other tools it was impossible. I think it does many things but haven't researched that yet.

Would Not RecommendThis did not work at all! The tool fit well over the plastic nuts on my existing faucet, but when pressure was applied, all it did was snap all the plastic tabs off the nut. Had to take off the nuts the old fashioned way..... With plyers and brute strength....

Would Not RecommendWorks but not for all models of faucets. Bought this to install on a Moen kitchen sink faucet but the nut was too small for this tool. It comes with 2 adapters with 2 different sizes on either end you just slot them into the blue grip but the smallest size did not fit my Moen

Kobalt Faucet Change-out Tool
Would RecommendHad a problem with the faucet moving. Purchased today and tightened the faucet mount nut in less than 5 minutes! No need to remove any water lines
Decent tool, limited usefulness
I bought this tool to remove two old bathroom faucets and install new ones. I chose the Kobalt brand over the competition (the red one from Rigid) because this was a bit cheaper and Kobalt tools are usually decent. Like most people who are changing/fixing faucets, I was forced to work in impossibly tight spaces with limited visibility. The tool helped me remove and install 2-tab basin nuts and loosen/tighten hot/cold water supply lines. The job was still challenging due to the fact that I mostly...
