Would RecommendI purchased these for one of my son's craft projects, he was cutting a lot of 12 gauge steel wire. They worked great, enough force to cut the wire without the strain on your hands. I am sure they would cut right through a small bolt, but for anything of any size I would suggest buying one of the larger sets.
