Bought these to do some high tensile fencing and they were great. Cut the wire fencing easily and left no sharp edges.

Great wire-cutting tool.

Used the tool for cutting wire cages used to protect Apple trees from deer. The spring-loaded handle made the job much easier and efficient.

Hand-held Bolt Cutters too Weak

It would have been nice to know the size of wire or bolt the cutters would be able to handle. There was not descriptive capacity, per se, listed on the packaging. It could have been little bigger, but the next size up did not seem appropriate to purchase at the time.

As a cabinet installer, we use a lot of "break away" screws for installing hardware on drawer fronts. These make it so easy just to cut the screws instead of using 2 pliers to bend them until they break. Highly recommend these

Good For My Purpose

I bought these to cut welding wire. Larger steel and stainless wires require more than side cutters but hopefully not a power tool, hence, the small, Kobalt bolt cutters.

I bought these because I am cutting up chain linked fence from dog kennel.........this was just about the least effective thing I've purchased. You would think as a bolt cutter, it would have been a snap to cut sections of wire.......it really did not....

Amazing Bolt Cutter

I purchased this Kobalt bolt cutter to tackle a stubborn bolt that I was trying to pry free, but the head was stripped. The cutter went through the small bolt like a knife through butter. It was the perfect tool for the job.

i recently bought these as my old pair of a similar craftsman model that i have had for years was pretty worn out. the design of both is basically the same. these things are just great for cutting wire fencing, are adjustable and hand grips are comfortable. i also bought a pair for a friend who loves them! definitely worth it, best wire cutters ever!

Did the job

Did the job but it took some serious squeezing. I have a lazy boy recliner that had some of the metal framing sticking out the back. Needed to cut it so it wasn’t sticking out. It was similar To or maybe a little thicker than a chain link fence. It worked and is probably a tool I won’t have to use much so I can’t complain.

Heavyly used have had for about a year rain snow just a little rust does the job cuts small bolts and wires. Still sharp.

Solid Tool

Good tool for cutting light swing chain, small bolts, etc. Don’t expect it to cut medium to large bolts.

Kobalt 8-in Bolt Cutters

I am a truck driver and use this product every day to cut trailer door cable seals before backing truck into warehouse doors. The tool does its job. In fact I have had other drivers borrow the tool then attempt to walk away with it because they like it so much.
