Broke trying to cut a basic zip tie
Would Not RecommendFirst time using these and it broke trying to cut a basic zip tie. It even shows in the photos that it can cut a zip tie. However, that clearly is not the case here. Thankfully these have a Lifetime warranty and they will be returned
Losing to Harbor Freight
Would Not RecommendLook at how poorly Kobalt tools are machined. A picture is worth a thousand words. Several is worth even more. Even though the steels are different, take care of your tools and they won't rust.
Awful Quality Control
Would Not RecommendSome of the pliers have smooth jaws. This means no grip. Then, the jaws themselves are not evenly machined. furthermore, the jaws don't match up well. finally, the case is simply not large enough. IMO, quality-wise, these fit somewhere between the old Task Force and Harbor Freight. Lowe's should've stuck with Danaher products.
Good set for price
Would RecommendNeeded another small set to replsce my older Crafsman which i cant find. These do the trick fir now and will give to wife for hobby stuff later. Not a fan of the case. Although fit well, case design could be improved to allow easier removal and inserting tools back in pouch
