Great set and storage!

Picked up on the "Black Friday" deal - these have been used to repair small toys, setting up the Lionel train set, Christmas lights and setting up outdoor display. The long needle nose are my go to as well as the nippers. I had a Craftsman set but the handles were too large and these just feel better in hand.

What can I say? Bit of a hardware geek.

I needed a set of somewhat precision side-cutters. For the price the set was awesome. And to get 5 stars I would have to interact with an actual person.

I actually bought these for my adopted daughter. Before her birth mother passed away they would make jewelry from beads and things like that. So these make it a lot easier for her to work with the beads, wires and connectors..

Good Value

This set of plyers is in the midrange in terms of built quality and sizes. I wished they were a bit smaller at the nose so that we can use in finer areas. Nonetheless, this set is good value.

Not what I expected.

As usual, everything looks great in the photos! What you cannot see is; the jaws are not finished. The surface of every mating jaw is as it was cast. Black, rough and sharp. I have to grind off the high dimples to use them.

Broke with use

The top cut pliers broke cutting a zip tie. Not at all expected to so flimsy.

This is a very nice set of pliers. As expected from Kobalt, high quality and sturdy tools. I am not disappointed in this product.

only for soft metal or plastic

i purcahsed this kit about a month ago and havent used it much except for a little wiring until i used one to cut down a roll pin which shouldnt be that hard to cut. it literarily snapped with the smallest amount of pressure. from the look of the metal its not anything special due to the cast texture. i would advise against using these on anything harder than copper, aluminum and plastic. with that being said they may still snap due to the casted instead of a forged material. i only wish lowes w...

Broke!

The first time I used the flat nose nippers they broke! I was using them to cut zip ties off my Christmas lights. The diagonal nippers worked ok, at least they didn’t break.

A set for That Just In Case Project

I bought these for my guitar projects. I really like the size and the variety of different style to use for separate tasks. They are well made and I like that the whole set comes with a case. I think the case could have been made better so you loose a star there. I am not a Velcro-man It will not last and zipper I believe are the thing of the past. A snap case with normal slots would have been better. I would Recommend it for the Price and the Quality.

Mini Pliers Set Kobalt

These a great set of pliers for anyone who enjoys doing small tasks and needs a small plier. Fixing jewelry, eyeglasses, small household tasks. A very thoughtful and useful gift. Didn't include picture since several are already wrapped as gifts. But great item.
