Died after 3 years
Would Not RecommendJust took it out to use after winter and it no longer works. I tried three different fully charged batteries and nothing. Called Lowes customer service and found out that since I didn't keep the receipt the warranty is useless. Will look to buy a different brand.

Good product but skimps on extra spools.
Would Not RecommendIt is a solid tool, works well and more than enough battery to do a whole yard plus some. It is a bummer that this company cannot include an extra refill spool pack. Most other companies, even lower models of Black and Decker or Greenworks came with a refill pack. For the cost, they should include at least one. Would look at other brands before buying Kobalt as a refill spool will set you back $20 anyway.

Electric powerful string trimmer
Would RecommendIdeal for a homeowner with a small to medium size yard. However, I must add that I've done some very big jobs with it. Light weight, easy to use, and it's electric. Run around 45 minutes on a charge.
