I have a Ryobi electric jig saw as well and it never comes out of the case. I have a plumbing company and handles 90% of my requirements for a fraction of the price, Kobalt jigsaw blades as good as you can find as well

Best Ever

I bought this thinking it would make cutting flooring easier without the cord. Boy was I surprised. This thing cuts through wood like a knife through butter. I haven't done my flooring yet but I did have to put a window in my shed. Never had anything cut as smooth and quick as this. The circular saw is next!!

surprisingly solid tool

I got this on sale for $80 and must say it is so worth it, operates well, 2AH battery lasts forever in this thing, light and blow away is very helpful.

Quality

I’d like to start by saying that I’m definitely a fan of the Kobalt 24v line. I generally believe the majority of their tools are “pretty good.” However, Kobalt 24v breaks the mold. First impression was ohh it’s a little heavy and those don’t seem to be long enough cutting strokes. But believe me I was wrong, this thing is quality not to mention down right amazing for any brand. At less than 3 figures you definitely need one. Knowwhatimsaynnnnnnnn?

Nice features

Great jigsaw. First used to make sink cut out in butcher block counter top and cut like a champ. My craftsman couldn't handle the challenge so well, blade kept pulling out and popping off the front wheel. The side guide is nice for making thinner rip cuts I don't feel comfortable making with a circular saw. Can't beat the features, not at this price point.

Excellent addition to my Kobalt tools.

I had to replace my ancient jigsaw, so I researched. I already have a few 24 volt Kobalt tools. I am very glad I chose this one. It is a dream to use. It's much quieter than my old one too. I am a very happy woodworker!

gets the job done

I got this tool for free when I purchased the other kobalt tool package it has plenty of power to cut through whatever you are working on I would definitely recommend if you are looking to get away from dragging around power cords

40V Battery powered Jig saw

I hunt in Ohio. And you have to have battery powered tools. This fit the job perfectly.

Exceeds expectation for the price

Overall this works great! One improvement would be if it had a better way to eyeball that its staying on the line of your cut! Other than that it works GREAT!

Great product

I bought this so i could cut some shapes out of olywood and it has far surpassed my expectations. Not only is it great to cut through things when im too lazy to grab my circular saw, ir is also easy to maneuver through wood. Blade length is a big plus. It can easily cut through various thickness of wood.
