awesome power

This is my first battery jigsaw, after having only corded ones I was surprised at just how much power this put out. Cuts super easy.

So easy to use, and look Ma! No cords!

Absolutely love this Kobalt jigsaw! Blades easy to install and eject with the lever. Light and blower makes it easy to stay on your cutting line. Used it during a week long flooring project, it did fantastic on the luxury vinyl planks I was installing, both on length-wise and width-wise cuts. Very easy to control.

Not the typical Kobalt quality

I own almost every Kobalt tool Lowes offers. The jigsaw has been the only disappointing tool. The baseplate will not stay locked in position. It does cut very well while it is in position, but that is temporary.

Perfect for DIY stuff

Got this on sale for $99. Could have had different brands for cheaper but Kobalt cordless haven’t let me down yet. Full price of $130 would have been too steep for me. Always wait for a sale when it comes to cordless tools unless you are in a pinch. Blade installs quickly and no cord! No issues cutting 3/4” plywood. Used to have an old corded that was loud and vibrated like crazy, so to me this is gold. Quiet, much smoother operation than I’m used to. Feels good in the hand with a 4ah battery. L...

Love this jig saw

A nice battery powered jig saw with lots of features. Got it on sale with free shipping. Lowe's even applied my military discount which sweetened the deal. This saw is well made and should last a long time. I already had the batteries and charger for other Kobalt tools I own. The best thing about this new jig saw -- no cord to get in the way. Lowe's and Kobalt rock!!!

Kobalt Jigsaw.

When i received the saw and went to use it for the first time it would not cut straight and actually ruined a piece of trim that I was working on. When I looked at the saw to see what was going on, I noticed that the blade was not straight in the saw and no matter how much I tried (new blades) as soon as you used the saw the blade would twist and not be straight in the shank of the saw. It's not aligned properly but it works.

I just needed a small electric saw for cutting shelves from scrap wood. This was cheap enough and small enough to meet my need. the only issue was that it is slightly out of line so I have to point left of my mark to cut a straight line. Too much hassle to exchange it for a straight guide.

Saw only with No Battery included?

I gave this saw to my Son for Christmas and was surprised to find out that a battery and charger was not included with the saw but was a separate purchase my son had to make. I have purchase the Kobalt, weed eater, hedge trimmer and drill and a battery was always included. It was my fault for assuming all Kobalt battery powered tools came with A BATTERY. I will be more vigilant when making tool purchases in the future. My Son is very happy with the saw.

excellent for cutting engineered wood planks. tool feels like high quality. all toggles and adjustments are precise and secure. lots of adjustments but im cutting only with 0 oscillation for finer cuts. i really like the fan, it works great in practice although its tied with blade speed. i’ve cut up to 2 inches with ease. its a great tool im very happy with it.

Great Value

I had a bargain jigsaw that barely cut a 2' x 6' board one foot before it died. I purchased a Kobalt jigsaw, used the same blade and the Kobalt cut through the board like a hot knife through butter. The difference was amazing. Since I have other Kobalt cordless tools I did not need to purchase a battery. Blade changes are easy and if you use the smallest battery, it is very light in weight.

Easily the most comfortable jigsaw I've used, and the combo of features, value, and clean cuts has me won over. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Where do I start? Has everything you want in a jigsaw. Power, clean cut & tool free blade changes / adjustments! How much time did I waste before I bought this just looking for a tool to change a blade?? Too much. LED light helps keep you on track too! Great tool, great price.

My husband loves this jigsaw. There are so many things he likes about this tool; it has an LED which makes it easy to see the cut line, it has notched settings, a beveling shoe that can go both ways, a blower that turns on and off, the blade pops out so you don’t need to touch it and a safety lock that you can turn on and off. This tool is well worth the money.

Beats my old corded any day

I have no complaints about this jigsaw. Its variable speed/oscillation allows me to adjust accordingly depending on material I'm cutting. Great product
