Easy to use, light enough to work inside my home. Not for heavy duty jobs but gets the honey-do’s done.

Good for light needs

Item performed well once I went back to Lowe’s to get a replacement air chuck because the on that came with it was defective.

Does what I need it to do

I mainly use this to put air in my tires and clean stuff off with it. I would by no means use this as a shop compressor or for air tools (nail gun, etc). For the price you can't go wrong.

Kobalt Compressor

This compressor is inadequate for filling a light truck tire in as much as the volume is only .5scfm. Filling a car tire works as long as your not in a hurry.

Worked literally one time, never charged again.

Maybe I just had a defective one, I spun it up to 120 psi once, used it down to about 30 psi and it never charged above that again. Tried to call the Kobalt number but they are only open from Mon-Fri 8-4 which is when most people work every day not doing side projects with the house. Instead of going through their customer support I just returned the system and borrowed a friends to accomplish what I needed to do.

It is a well constructed air compressor. It is simple to use, but powerful enough to do the job that needs to be done. This is an upgrade from a previous air compressor and cheaper compressor , that all of a sudden stop working. This one looks like it will perform for many years to come.

great little compressor

i used it the first time to blow the water lines out of a house to winterize it. it worked very well and held the preset pressure very well.

Quality item at an affordable price

Great little air compressor. Works great for airing up tires. I use it for powder coating bullets. And the powder coating gun has no issues. Perfect for what I need it for.

Nice Little Compressor

I bought this compressor to replace my old Kobalt 1 HP 2 gallon, which gave up the ghost after many years in the shop. I only wanted this small compressor for finish and pin nailing in the shop and around the house. It is only 3/4 HP so it takes a while to fill, but is not bad. I have a larger 8 gallon in the garage for major stuff and my HVLP sprayer, so I only need this from time to time. If it had a 1 HP it would be better, which is the reason for 4 stars out of 5.

Real Small

I've only had the compressor for a couple days so I can't speak on reliability, but what I do know is that this compressor is very limited. It's pretty light and portable, but just using a blower attachment, this compressor runs out of air quick. I mostly bought it to run a 18 gauge nail gun and it does that well. Any more than that, and you're looking at this unit running non-stop. Also, the motor is pittiful. The tanks are small, but it still take a few minutes to fill them. It's actually rath...
