What Customers Are Saying
The product features a ratcheting mechanism for efficient screwing and unscrewing, and includes a variety of convenient storage bits. While generally well-built, some users have reported issues with loose screws, unreliable ratcheting, and lower quality bits. The tool appears suitable for DIY and household use, but may not be as durable for more demanding professional applications.

Would Not RecommendThis is my second Kobalt racheting screwdriver. My original came with a spring loaded bit chuck to lock in bits. The chuckless bit holder shaft on the new model wobbles a lot making it a challenge to apply downward pressure when driving screws. I expected better from quality Kobalt. It just seems cheaper made compared to my original.
Close tolerance
Would RecommendA handy screwdriver, but the bits are a tight fit in the handle and are difficult to slide out. The screw cap sometimes jams on even when correctly threaded.
Excellent Driver
Would RecommendI have several of these. I keep one in each vehicle, at home, at work, etc.

Good tool for the price.
Would Not RecommendThe bits do not stay in the tool very well, possibly need a stronger magnet. The extra bits are not easily accessible.
Junk. Kobalt "no hassle return" policy is a JOKE!
Would Not RecommendThought this would be a handy tool...Turns out, the shaft that holds the bits wobbles 10-15 degrees in all directions. I went back to Lowes to exchange or get my money back and found that ALL of them have the wobbly shaft issue. Lowes WOULD ONLY CREDIT ME $12.98 NOT THE $16.98 I ORIGINALY PAID. Kobalt's "no hassle" return policy is a joke! Oh, and they're now reduced to $12.98...I guess Lowes and Kobalt know these are defective and are trying to clear inventory. You just LOST MY BUSINESS LOWES.....
Not the greatest design
Would Not RecommendScrewdriver and ratchet work just fine. It’s a pain to have to unscrew the end cap and dump out the cluster of bits to swap out bits. And of course the end cap twists off easily if you grip the tools towards the end during use. Other brands from the orange box store have the bits stored on the body of the screwdriver and are much easier to access, not to mention double sided bits.
You get what you pay for
Would Not RecommendWhen you hold the gnarled, metal collar, that activates the x2 rotation. I had to test four different drivers in the store to find one that worked properly. The other three either got hung up or stuck. It felt like there was debris in the drive mechanism. The collar felt like it was barely attached to the main body. The bits are cheap chrome vanadium that will eventually chip and rust. Returned the next day feeling that I probably made a mistake purchasing it in the first place. Replaced it wit...
Handy tool
Would RecommendI purchased this multi screwdriver to keep in my house for quick access when doing stuff in the house. It has all the bits you’d need on a regular basis in one set, easy to change out as well. I like my normal screwdrivers, but this works perfect to keep from making the trek to the garage outside looking for the right one. Would buy again.

Great Screwdriver Set!
Would RecommendThis screwdriver set is amazing. Nice wide rubber grip. Ratcheting works great both directions and the bits are everything you need. This even has bits for internal hex screws that you need an Allen wrench/Hex key for. This has saved me countless hours putting together furniture! Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bits are not locked in the screwdriver so they sometimes stick in the screw and pop out of the screwdriver. But that is a very minor inconvenience to an otherwise great prod...

Great for DIYers, not for pro use
Would Not RecommendI bought this at a discount and thought it was a pretty good buy. Being a cableco tech, lets just say I remove/put back more coax wall plates than the average user ever will (amongst other things). The double drive really saves time. But that's where the fun ends. This is meant for medium/low-torque jobs, especially when using the ring to double-drive the screw. If you are met with resistance, quickly enough you'll hear the inner gears click and grind... But the worst thing about this tool...
