I bought this exact 3/8 drive torque wrench on sale a couple of years ago and it's been a welcome and reliable addition to my tool box. It has a very audible and haptic click when I've reached my set torque value. No complaints so far!

Don't buy!

Only used it 2 times and it broke. Unfortunately snapped some head bolts off because it quit working 1 month after the 1 year warranty expired

Will brake bolts nothing is right

I have tested this ratchet and used it to perform on all the change and all it did was break bolts off into the engine, tested the ratchet, and it does not have any accuracy

I received the torque wrench in a box you could ship a TV in. the torque wrench was floating around in the box completely out of its case. half tempted to return it

Works fine, very accurate even in the lower torque settings.

Perfect tool

I bought this to help tighten my brake caliper slide pins and brake caliper brackets so they weren’t over tightened and everything to to specs. It’s got a long Handel to help get the bolts tightened at higher torque specs. It’s easy to use and works perfectly.

calibrated in ft-lb at factory

It broke what I was working on when I had it set to the inch pounds required. I used an electronic torque meter to test this torque wrench and found it was torquing to ft-lbs instead of inch-lbs. Every wrench they are selling is set to ft-lbs instead of inch-lbs. Please contact me Kobalt.

Terrible

Broke two bolts off in my valve cover, tested it on a bolt and did not work right out the box. Obviously this was a huge problem

1/2 inch drive torque wrench

Slight damage to the case where the plastic pin was used to hold the clear cover on. Was able to just pull of the clear cover with no force. Torque wrench appears to work perfectly though and matches what was on the calibration sheet. Would of been 5 stars if case wasn't damaged in the picture.

It's a great deal! So don't pass it up!
