Nice design but app sucks

Bought this awhile ago and it kinda worked but the app had issues so I deleted the app. Just recently I needed a scope, so I went to install it back on my new phone and the light is the only thing that works now. Klein says they are committed to quality, but they need to fix this problem with the app or something.

I'd advise you skip this one.

This boroscope may work in some applications but the USB lead is comically short. There's only one camera, and it only looks forward, so this won't work to check out your valve seats. The LED lights are too dim. Oddly enough, the app worked fine on my phone. This scope is cheap, but the design choices make it pretty aggravating to use.

Good for a novice

The camera worked well with my phone. The light is bright enough. The only downside is the picture is very "crisp" but that could be my phone Motorola Razor flip

Worked great, did exactly what I needed it to. Video quality is pretty good.

Straightforward Performance, Tricky Handling

While this model functions well and provides a high-quality image, the fixed, straight-ahead lens makes it difficult to maneuver into specific viewing angles. The biggest drawback is the ergonomics: balancing a cellphone and the borescope simultaneously is a challenge - especially when you’re working from a ladder. It’s a solid basic tool, but it requires some dexterity to use effectively.

Needs longer cable.

Easy to setup with Android tablet. Stiff enough camera cable to maintain position. Could use a longer USB cable to attach to phone or tablet.

Good product for the price.

It did the job very well. We had a leak that we couldn't find and the scope helped so much.

Love this boroscope but the only thing that needs to change is when moving the cable it pulls on your charging port even when you try to hold it. It could mess up your phone.

For the price this can't be beat. And Lowes had it in stock. Work seamlessly with my Lenovo tablet. The secret to high performace at a low price is using your device instead of having to supply a screen and all that entails. Bonus is the tool stores away neatly in the small provided pouch. The only negative I have is the length of the camera head is too long to make it around sink and shower P traps.The 10' length will be nice for jobs like looking in walls or tight crawl spaces at wiring.
