Linseed oil works with oil paints
Would RecommendI bought this for my use with oil paints. As a new student working with oil paints I tend to use the paint straight from the tube to get the best color value without mineral spirits diluting it. As oil paints need to be applied oily paint over lesser oil, I needed a solution to my dilemma. This worked! It prevents cracks to your paintings.

This stuff works amazing for sealing the wood, giving it a little bit of waterproofing, as a pre-stain treatment for wood that doesn't accept stain well like pine, and even polishing old furniture. This brand is excellent because it is designed to dissolve slowly.

Great for Wood

You obviously see that it has changed the appearance of your common pine. Although I found it took some time before I would be able to put it on and area where it would not bleed out. However from using it in the past it most definitely protects from water marks on unfinished wood. I will use product again.
