Would RecommendA super quiet dishwasher, we often have to check to know if it's running! We can now run our dishwasher right after dinner and still watch TV, without having to put the volume up higher. We also love the third rack at the top for smaller items, really feels like extra space we didn't have before! The dishwasher door also pops open once the cycle is complete so heat doesn't build up and you don't have wet dishes. Maybe this is something all new dishwashers do, but it was new to us! We're so happy...

Automatic door failure
Would Not RecommendThe automatic door opener has failed within 5 months, turns out you cannot disconnect it so need to replace the module, not a good sign. Otherwise works good think it was a good idea to have an extended warranty since I figure it will happen again.
Absolute Garbage
Would Not RecommendPurchased in September of 2025 and it worked for a month. Lowe’s will NOT take it back and KitchenAide is not able to repair it. “We need to try and repair it prior to authorizing a replacement” means 4 total visits before they give up. Now waiting for KitchenAide to FIND and other repair company, “This will take no longer than 30 days.” So…what this means is Lowe’s does not support garbage they sell…Kitchen Aid will stretch this out as long as they can. AVOID APPLIANCES FROM LOWES!

Even though my former dishwasher broke after 6 years, I did like the dishwasher very much so I opted to replace it with another KitchenAid. I’m actually not a fan of the third rack and all of them have it now. I’ve had the dishwasher for a week and wish I had looked a bit more into other options.
