When we got this dishwasher, the installation instructions that came with the dishwasher were incomplete, They only had instructions for the electric. And one of the pieces for the electric was too short to install. You have to download the entire users manual to get accurate installation instructions. Super quiet dishwasher. I love that i can run the dishwasher and i cannot hear it. Its easy to keep clean and my dishes are clean and sanitized.

More than terrible delivery experience

This is not about the dishwasher, because it was never delivered, but about the horrendous delivery and schedule experience. Dishwasher was ordered on a Saturday with paid for delivery of Tuesday. Monday night I received a confirmation 4 hr window for Tuesday. Tuesday morning, about 2 hrs before the delivery window, I checked my order status and noticed that the delivery date was auto changed to Wednesday. Lower rack tines are too short, plates fall over!

I really did my research and thought buying a kitchen-aid would be a step up. It cleans great! HOWEVER….the tines on the lower rack are terribly short and spaced too far apart. My stoneware dinner plates fall over once you set them in there, if your lucky enough to get them in their straight at all! It holds more dirty dishes at one time than any dishwasher I have ever had. It is extremely quite, I don’t even hear it running!

Broken rack wheels from factory

Unboxed and discovered two rack wheels broken already. Dishwasher had been tested at factory due to water present in machine so inspector must have missed or the cheap looking plastic broke during shipping. I have an unusable appliance with 2 hours + on phone spread over two days trying to get customer support from Kitchenaid. Lowes says must address issue thru Kitchenaid.
