It seems like a good product, but I cannot find recipes and simple to use instructions. I have only tried it once and was very disappointed, so it hasn’t been out of the box since.

Excellent attatchment
Would RecommendJust arrived today couldn't wait. A bit of crazy fun to start off. My pasta dough started out too soft (my usual recipe). Once I added more flour it was all on. Amazing results, very clever machine. I didn't even mind the clean up of picking out the dough from the disc's, allowed me time to sit down with a cuppa. Fabulous, thanks designers.

Terrible waste of money. Doesn’t work
Terrible product. The dough does not come out smoothly. It keeps getting stuck in the attachment and does not produce pasta. What a mess. A total waste of money. I own many attachments and this was the only one that was so terrible that I needed to review. KitchenAid was no help. Do not buy.

Happy with it.
Would RecommendWorks great, I do wish the rigatoni blade twisted naturally but it doesn’t, you have to do that part by hand. The dough can soft or tough but make sure it’s not sticking to your hands. I did a test run with dough that had egg and water and it needed to be much more dry to cut cleaner from the extruder

Fun and practical
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this forChristmas and the whole family is loving it!! I do wish the instructions were a little more detailed, but I was able to find YouTube videos that helped. It is true that you have to be careful not to overheat the attachment or the mixer. So, to make the entire recipe that’s given in the instructions at one time may be asking too much of the mixer. It needs to rest and cool off.

Broke After 5 Uses
Would Not RecommendI purchased this product 3 years ago. I made pasta 5 times before the internal gearing in the pasta press broke. I followed instructions and never did anything "crazy" with the pasta press. It feels cheap and uses cheap plastic components. It was fun while it lasted, but now I am throwing it out since I am well past the warranty period.

Fantastic time saver!! Makes great fresh pasta!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great SUPER time saver for homemade, healthy ingredients of 6 different kinds of fresh pasta. I make my own 3 ingredient semolina dough in my bread machine .Let it rest, roll what I’m going to use into long 3/8” thick 15” long tubes to wind up and directly feed into the Kitchen Aid Gourmet Pasta Maker. I can make 2 servings or 8 servings. I roll what I’m not going to use, divide into portioned balls wrapped in plastic into a freezer conta...

Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn’t like it at all - very hard to make pasta the right consistency for this to work

Low quality pasta
Would Not RecommendWay worse than a hand pasta maker like a Marcato. The auger is really poor and makes the pasta not very smooth. Giant waste of money.

Perfect pasta!
Would RecommendI got this as a gift from my kids. I immediately used it with my own buckwheat pasta dough. I've had and hated other pasta extruders, but this one is fabulous. It's slow but steady, worked without overheating for about 40 minutes on very hard dough ( the machine won't tolerate soft or damp pasta dough) Easy to figure out, beautiful results. It isn't perfect - the fusilli needs twisting, spaghetti takes less time on an Atlas crank roller attachment. Cleaning is difficult. Still - bucatini! m...

Need the ability to buy purchase additional dies.
Will you be adding new discs to this? I would love to see new dies for my pasta extruder. I love the the Extruder attachment but sad to see that other Brands ( Phillips 7000 series) continue to add new exciting pasta shapes that can be purchased separately. I would love to have a lasagna, Pappardelle, Tagliatelle & Penne to start. We have just about ever attachment to fit my 2 KitchenAid stand mixers, I love them all, but would need to replace with a different brand so that I can get all of the o...

Pasta Press... not great
Would Not RecommendNot loving this press. I keep getting two walnut sized pieces of dough stuck in the machine at the end and it seems to be heating up the machine to a really high temp... which is maybe why the dough softens and gets clogged. It's working way too hard. I also am having troubke that the cutter isn't clearing the attachment... so I have to pull it down a hari everytime I try to cut the pasta... something just isn't right.

Plastic Pieces in our Pasta
Would Not RecommendThis made great pasta two times before we noticed that the auger was scraping plastic off of the inside of the extruder into our food. We were incredibly disappointed to find out we had eaten plastic.
