Wasted money

The bottom of the bowl cracked our 2nd time using it causing blue liquid to pour all over our counter. In addition, the top spring attachment (hub assembly)was stuck and would not spin the dasher. We got 1 use out of this product. I would not recommend.

Broke after 6 uses

Broke within 1 year (about 6 uses) Cannot easily fine e-mail support on webpage for warranty or replacement parts

Bottom cracks

In 2023 I recieved this product as a gift less then I year and the bottom cracked letting all of the liquid out that keeps it cold and cant be fixed. I reorder it in 2024 because I loved how easy it was to work. Now again the bottom cracked and cant be fixed. This one is less then a year old again. Easy to make delicious ice cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was really easy to use and I made the most delicious ice cream for my kids! This Kitchenaid attachment is so easy to clean and store. It feels well made and durable.

Not worth the price

We had it for just over a year and then it cracked while in the freezer and liquid started leaking all over the place when we used the bowl. So disappointed that the warranty is only for a year so now it’s useless. We wish it would’ve lasted a little longer, especially for the price.

Horrible product

Terrible product!

Kitchen Aid ice cream maker is a terrible product. Bought brand new - tried to use it several times with full freezing time and different recipes but never got cold enough to even partially freeze the mix . No coolant leaks, no apparent defects. Just doesn’t work!

Cracked!

bowl cracked less than a year and only a handful of uses...now it is worthless

Plastic drive Assembly broke

The drive assembly broke on the third use. I tried searching the site for a replacement part but no luck. Then I looked through the reviews and it looks like this is a common problem./

Great Quality

This ice cream maker has been used twice a week for 2 years. It has held up and is still going strong. Hardly any signs of wearing

Cracked

Received this as a Christmas gift 2024, made about 2 dozen rounds of coconut milk ice cream over the course of those 6 months and after handwashing and leaving out to dry last night, the outside cracked somehow and leaked the inside freeze material all over the place.

Drive Assembly Snapped

I received this ice cream maker attachment as a gift. First 2 batches went well, made delicious ice cream, then on third use, the drive assembly snapped into pieces after about 10 minutes of churn. How/where can I get a new one? Is this a common problem? Thanks,

Makes great ice cream , until it breaks

Only the 3rd time using it and it broke right alone the bracket like others have had happen.

bowl , potentially, NOT staying frozen

so , i am , potentially, concerned the 1st time i used it, it worked GREAT / fantastic then i stored the bold in my cupbord for 6 months (not enough room in the freezer) and i put the bowl in the freezer for 24 hours but the 2nd time it did not work at all Creme Anglaise did NOT freeze bowl did NOT stay frozen I am going to try 1 more time - freezing my bowl for 2 days, and then we'll see what happens (but i have big concerns that it is not going to work) if it does not, can i get a refund o...

Would not recommend

Broke after 2 uses! To much money for a product that breaks after only 2 uses. Paddle should be built to lock onto the kitchenaid.

Do not buy

Attachment that goes into the paddle is plastic and cracked the second day using it. Horrible product

I never realized how easy it was to make ice cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not Kitchenaid's fault that my clothes are tighter now, but the fact that this attachment makes incredible ice cream isn't helping the situation! Easy to use and very effective. I do wish that the dasher was made of stainless steel, but other than that this is an excellent product!

Great features easy-to-use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the ice cream attachment. I love making ice cream for my family with all natural ingredients. It is easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars if it had come with more than one recipe. The recipes are hard to find online.

Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before using the bowl, make sure to freeze it first for 16 hours or so.I tried using tapioca flour instead of egg yolk to see if it's going to work as a binding agent for this homemade ice cream. Don't ask me for exact me for exact measurements because I eyeball most of it except the sugar and heavy cream.Next time I'll use condensed milk instead of sugar.Also make sure the drive assembly and the dasher are aligned before adding the mixtures. ...

Summer must have
